Blunt Tip Diamond Coated Glass Drill Bit (GlaStar)
You can't beat a diamond coated drill bit for drilling glass, rocks or ceramics. Different than our Diamond Core Drill Bits, these can be used in any hand-held rotary tool. High quality will last for a long time.
  • For use in any portable drill or rotary tool (Dremel and flex shaft OK)
  • Use water as a coolant
  • Simple to use (directions on package)

$24.00 (ea.)

Note how far up the shaft the diamonds go.

What's the difference between our Diamond Core and Blunt Tip Diamond Drill Bits?
  • Blunt Tip can be used in hand-held rotary tool, Core must be used in a drill press *
  • Holes are easier to get round and accurate when drilled in drill press (core)
  • Drilling is faster on drill press (core)
  • Core bits grind away a cylinder of glass, while Blunt Tip bits grind away glass until the hole is formed
  • Both types are coated with genuine diamonds
  • Be sure to read Christine Cox's article Bottles and Windows Quake in My Presence: How to Drill Glass

They come 2 in a package

1/4" Shank
1/8" Hole

Diamond Core Drill Bits (1/8") (Aanraku)
If you are making projects that require holes in glass, rocks or ceramic, you'll need our 1/8" Diamond Core Drill Bits. They work marvelously with our Glass Bevels or with stained glass. Use water as a coolant.
For use in a drill press.*

A great value!
$15.00 (2)
