| This journal was
made and painted by Christine Cox using Volcano Arts'
Large Leather Journal Kit.
The image (from Stampland) was stamped on
the front using permanent ink. It was then painted with Radiant Pearls (a
translucent artist's paint). The journal was then carefully dyed using
leather dye.
The beads were sewn onto the cover before
the journal was assembled.
The debossed border was created by rubbing
a bone folder repeatedly over the leather using a ruler as a guide.
This book is in the collection of Darlene Domel and
Bill Gaglione.
